My dad, Tim Riggs, built the original Northwinds during the early internet days in International Falls. I'm continuing the name now -- custom websites, hosting, care plans, and practical software for small businesses.

Where Northwinds comes from
The internet got to International Falls in 1998.
Tim Riggs started Northwinds in International Falls on May 1, 1998 as a local internet provider -- dial-up access for the 218 area code, eventually wireless broadband broadcast from water towers in South Falls and Fort Frances.
Web design came later, as the internet matured and small businesses started needing sites of their own.
