How pricing works
Every quote starts from the floor price for that category. The final number depends on the features, content, integrations, and custom work your project needs:
A single feature added to an existing website can often be scoped as an add-on. A connected system with accounts, payments, records, or staff tools needs a larger custom build. We agree on the scope and price before work starts.
Need a logo, brand work, or a one-off project? Fair game, with or without a website. Just ask. Ongoing SEO or social media isn't my main focus, but I'll help where I can or point you somewhere good.
Website Hosting & Care
Every new website launches with Northwinds hosting and a care plan. Every plan includes hosting, backups, software and security updates, monitoring, and fixes when the site breaks. Choose the amount of help you need with updates and small improvements: 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 2 hours, or 4 hours each month. Included work time resets each month. Unused time does not roll over. Plans run month to month, and you can cancel any time. Your offer spells out when billing begins. Every build also includes a 30-day post-launch warranty. Prepay a year and save 10%.

Your site starts with Northwinds hosting and care. If you later choose another host, contact me to plan the handoff before your hosting ends. You receive your site files, documentation, and the access needed for your site. Support after the move is available at my standard hourly rate.
Hourly work
Requested updates and small improvements use your plan's included monthly time, starting with 15 minutes on Hosting & Maintenance. The amount of work depends on the request; larger changes are scoped separately. Additional work is billed at $100 per hour. Fixes to the existing site remain included in every care plan and do not use your update allowance.
Add-ons

Custom work depends on the features involved. Photos, written content, and feedback affect the schedule, so we agree on the timing with the quote.
